go organic

Joey from Kanga Organics kindly sent me a few items to try out after i expressed interest in her organic pdts sold on the website!
Note: this is NOT an advertorial. cos' i'm not obliged to write this post actually.

just wanted to share a little joy with you guys!
it came in this cute brown paper bag (:

And tadahh.. the contents. there was a sanctum soothing cream cleanser (: - looking forward to trying it!

haha, she sent me this!! organic summer citrus dishwashing liquid & lavender laundry detergent ^^

and lastly, vanilla ginger lotion mist! it has a warm light scent to it. and you have shake before spraying on your body, cos' it's meant to be a light moisturizer.

Anyway, the best thing about all these items are that they're made from natural pdts! (:

I've always been intrigued by organic/natural stuff.
cos' sometimes the thought of cosmetics/skincare that you're putting on everyday is a concoction of chemicals, it's scary...
I've tried brands like Sukin before, their aloe vera gel, and facial moisturizer...and bod's clay mask etc.

And after knowing that nail polishes and fragrances can actually cause health problems...
I've cut drastically down on usage of both items.
For fragrances, i look for natural essential oil scents
and for nail polishes, there are some brands which doesn't have the "terrible 3" ingredients eg. Jessica, ... etc.

[ the terrible 3s are - Formaldehyde, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Toluene ]

Hmm, i too know that in today's life, it's almost impossible to stay completely away from chemicals...
It's in everything.. right? even fruits have pesticides on them!
so, let's just take a little a step at a time....by slowly decreasing/ and finding natural substitutes for your usual items.
